Each is deeply concerned with the health of our fisheries and our people, and actively encourages the healing powers and 'way of life' all fly fishers and conservationists pursue today and seek to pass forward into tomorrow.  FEDERATION OF FLY FISHERS is the international service organization dedicated to the betterment of the sport of fly fishing through Conservation and Education. Our goal is to 'Cultivate and advance the art, science and sport of flyfishing as the most sporting and enjoyable method of angling and the way of fishing most consistent with the preservation and use of game fish resources.'  PROJECT HEALING WATERS strives to serve those who have come home wounded and aid in their physical and emotional recovery by introducing or rebuilding the skills of fly fishing and fly tying.  REEL RECOVERY is the US national non-profit organization that conducts fly fishing retreats for men recovering from life-threatening cancer. 'Our mission is to help men in the cancer recovery process by introducing them to the sport of fly fishing, while providing a safe, supportive environment to explore their personal experiences with cancer while others share their stories.'
